What This Information Means

Public IP

Your public IP is the network address websites see for the current request. After connecting to a NaixiVPN route, check again. If the address differs from before, browser traffic usually exits through the selected route. Run another check after switching routes to confirm the change.

Country or Region

Location data comes from an IP address database and describes the area typically associated with that address. It can help estimate a route's general exit location, but it does not represent the device's actual location. Database updates may lag, and some addresses may appear under a provider's registered location or a nearby area.

ISP

The ISP field identifies the network operator or data-center network associated with the address. Route exits are often provided by data centers, cloud networks, or telecom operators, so the name shown may differ from the network used for everyday access. This field mainly helps identify the source network.

Proxy Detection Signal

The proxy result is a signal returned by the interface based on address classification data. Treat it as a reference only: shared exits, data-center addresses, and recently reassigned addresses can affect the result. Confirm a successful connection by checking whether the public IP changed, the target service is accessible, and the client reports a connected state.

DNS translates domain names into network addresses. A changed public IP does not necessarily mean every DNS request is handled through the same route. This page's endpoint checks public IP details only; it does not present a standard IP lookup as a complete DNS test.

Confirm That the Public IP Has Changed

Reconnect to the selected route and run the check again. If the public IP matches the one from before, check whether the client is connected, whether the current app uses split tunneling, and whether the browser is excluded from the proxy scope.

Check DNS Settings in Your System and Client

Review the current DNS configuration in your operating system's network details or the client's diagnostics page. If it still uses DNS resolvers provided by the local network, check whether the client's DNS takeover, encrypted DNS, and split-tunneling rules are enabled as expected.

Check for Browser-Level DNS Resolution

Some browsers can use their own secure DNS settings, which may differ from the system or client configuration. During troubleshooting, check the browser's network settings as well, so changing system DNS alone does not leave the browser using a separate resolution path.

Recheck After Reconnecting

After changing settings, disconnect and reconnect the route, then refresh this page to confirm the public IP details. If the client provides DNS diagnostics, use them to review where resolution requests are sent. Do not use scripts from unknown sources or submit subscription details to external testing pages.
